Lancaster (via Chicago) based The Convulsions appear at The Piel Castle, Market street, Ulverston on Sat. 16th February 9.00pm.

Frontman Ben Ruth spent 15 yrs in Chicago studying Blues/Soul music, came back to Lancaster and formed the Convulsions. Their music is VERY high energy blues/punk/soul/R&B. They have toured the USA/Germany/Costa Rica and played extensively throughout the UK. They appear regularly at Burnley Blues/Colne R&B festivals. Their next overseas tour is New York/Boston/New Jersey/Chicago in the autumn.
