Leave Barrow and Get a Job?

I was reading in the news today that BAE with its new £10 million pound "Foreign" oops i ment "FOREN" computer system will be building more boats, to build these boats they are building a son of the DDH -in barra

Contracters from away will be building it and once built it will employ 400 contracters from outside barrow to work there.

Can anyone explain why this is good news for Barrow when all the jobs are going to outside contracters?

Why do we need more ships and subs when the only war we are fighting is in the middle of a desert !!!

Boats are useful for getting people there and launching missile attacks from. Its also a deterrent and it helps show whos boss, we dont let them build nukes and in the meanwhile we build loads

These boats are crucial for the defence of our country, troops, equipment can be deployed anywhere in the world quickly, rouge states like Iran might think twice if we have this deterrent. An unstable middle east affects us all, what would we all do if the oil was held to ransom?
for starters our economy would grind to a halt, power cuts, food shortages, cars would grind to a halt, society would break down.
As for contractors building these sections of ships, the money spent by these people will boost the local economy immensely.
If you dont complain nothing ever gets changed
