Waste of money?

Postby Admin » Sun Apr 29, 2007 1:06 pm

I found this pictures on someones myspace page (not saying who , dont want to get them in trouble) and i gotta say i totally agree with their comment, i mean to me it just looks like a big pile of rusting metal with no point to it at all, im sure the money could have been spent on something better.

Whats anyone else think?

I do belive it's hardly rocking the barrow town .. (just like that very exspensive wall we paid many pennys for down the dock museum )

if i was running the town i'd at least make it magnetic or something .. and you could throw things at i.. oh my i think we should make it magnetic !

ahah !

I wonder...perhaps it's a portal into another world , I have seen many useless pieces of metal bestowed upon the unsuspecting public and fobbed off as art , quite frankly they are ugly but after a while you get used to them.
Take the angel of the north for instance that was hideous when first unveiled but now its a landmark and people have grown fond of it .
So theres hope I guess for this portal...hahaha

Art paid for by the taxpayer is usually art that nobody in their right mind would pay for.

If they were gonna call it a book you'd have thought the least they could have done was make it book-shaped.
