VOTE FOR SY LYON TO BECOME THE NEXT OFFICIAL HED KANDI DJ!

Sy Lyon said:
PLEASE VOTE FOR ME TO BECOME THE NEXT OFFICIAL HED KANDI DJ!

Hed Kandi was the inspiration that got me involved with House Music back in 2002. Still to this day I had the best night of my life at Hed Kandi (El Divino) in 2006. To commemorate this and to show the love I have for the label I have a Hed Kandi Logo tatoo on my arm!

Many DJs today as they have lost sight of why they are there and have forgotten how to enjoy what they do? I believe that you get back from a crowd what you give! Above all I like to please the crowd, however I try to do this without compromising the integrity of good quality House Music. I am a very diverse DJ and often like to take you on a journey, moving seamlessly through the spectrum of House. For me DJing is not just about track selection or technical ability, it's about crowd interaction and controlling people's emotions. "A truly great DJ, just for one moment, can make a whole room fall in love!"

PLEASE VOTE FOR ME AND HELP ME LIVE MY DREAM!
plus you could win a Pioneer DJ set up yourself too!

CLICK ON THE LINK BELOW
http://apps.facebook.com/hedkandi/entry/188/

Thanks

Sy Lyon

REVIEW - WBTH? Presents ARKoustic @ The Gregson (09/04)

WBTH said:
What can I say...The event was a definite success, which made all the hard work worth while. The Gregson was almost full with a diverse demographic of people who were treated to some great performances throughout the evening. The show featured a lot of original material some of which had never made it past the confines of someone's front room! Martin Brotheridge our Musical Director put in a mammoth effort playing literally, ALL DAY! It was they very first public appearance for Leon and John Cherry both of which beat the nervous demons and put in solid debut performances. Local beat boxer Jack's last minute addition to the bill proved to be a great decision. He brought the house down and worked the audience like a true entertainer. The night was finished of with newly formed “The Band” who got people off their seats dancing and played with real groove to conclude the show perfectly. A big thanks to all the performers for their hard work and hours of practice, to Trevor for the use of the PA, everyone who was involved with putting on the event and all the people who came down to show their support for the night and help raise money for Shelter.

Sy Lyon
(WBTH?)

Check out the event on YouTube...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MMCwTIR2dcE

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W0LF82cVXWc

Speaking with Ben after his set he said...

“TUNE!, I will be playing it every week!”.

Tim Fanucci also resident for Pukka Up showed his support and requested a copy. We had a good turn out with the WBTH? vibe providing an atmosphere for people to really get their groove on! This was the first time myself and Nick Dagger had played together and by all accounts we made a successful DJ partnership and with a few more events under our belt I'm sure we can be a top class combination! Nick also put in an heroic effort to DJ with his hand still in a pot from a recent break of his arm!, showing his commitment to the night and it's great to have him on board! The only way is up!

WHO BUILT THAT HOUSE? SUPER SUNDAY @ The Lounge (Sun 24th May)

Another WBTH? Super Sunday at Mood and it was another good night! WBTH? is beginning to have is roots firmly planted in Lancaster now and is getting a good following of the right kind of people! The visual element WBTH? brings to Mood definitely helps to create the right environment and atmosphere for people to identify with as more inner city feel and transforms a local bar into something a little more special. Only one more bank holiday left this year so make sure you GET INVOLVED!

Sy Lyon
(WBTH?)
